What you'll do:

• Take ownership of managing The Trade Desk’s relationship with Dentsu, Havas or Horizon
globally
• Lead, coach and support a high-performing and experienced sales team
• Responsible for setting and achieving sales goals across the business
• Work collectively with Client Service and BD Advertiser teams to cultivate an optimal
approach to key brands, new business, and agency growth
• Develop successful commercial relationships with key agency leaders, investment and client
leads in order to broaden TTD’s scope and opportunity
• Communicate the value of our media buying platform by aligning The Trade Desk’s media
buying philosophy and technology with our clients
• Participate in product road map build out discussions based on client needs with senior
leadership, product, & engineering (in concert with agency partnerships in order to ensure that
TTD is helping agencies to win)
• Oversee successful RFPs, including qualification & win strategy
• Work closely with product, marketing and revenue teams to constantly optimize efforts relating
to company-wide goals
· Build deep and lasting connections internally across The Trade Desk departments and
specialty functions

Who you are:

We are looking for a commercially savvy, very senior sales individual to identify, grow, and
nurture Dentsu, Havas and Horizon agencies. You’ll need a proven track record of delivering
results, building relationships and collaborating with other teams, as you’ll be working with key
holding company partners.

· A proven track record in sales and marketing in a relevant industry
· Experience managing a team of senior level sellers
· Detailed understanding of the agency business is a prerequisite
· Strong ability to build successful business through complex collaboration (internal,
agency and client)
· Existing relationships with decision makers at major agencies and advertisers
· Experience establishing longstanding, consultative client relationships
· Strong quantitative skills and negotiation ability, able to lead commercial negotiations
· Strong communication skills with an ability to speak with C-level clients
· Proven track record of exceeding revenue expectations.

The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as variable compensation-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year.  Employees can also purchase The Trade Desk stock at a discount through The Trade Desk’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is
$147,200$269,900 USD
