Global Workforce Management Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Workforce Manager who will play a critical role in planning, forecasting, and managing staffing strategies across the organization. This role requires a strong understanding of demand forecasting, resourcing workflows, deal tracking, and cost modelling. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to the business, ensuring workforce decisions are data-driven, timely, and aligned with strategic objectives.

The Workforce Manager will work closely with business leaders, delivery teams, and HR & finance partners to provide insights, staffing solutions, and proactive recommendations. Exceptional communication skills—beyond fluency—are essential, including the ability to tailor messaging, influence stakeholders, and navigate complex conversations with tact and clarity.

Workforce Planning & Forecasting

  • Develop and maintain accurate short-term and long-term demand forecasts.
  • Create capacity plans aligned with business growth and delivery expectations.
  • Monitor supply vs. demand trends and highlight potential risks or gaps proactively.

Staffing & Resource Management

  • Provide end-to-end staffing solutions to ensure optimal allocation of talent.
  • Drive timely fulfillment of resource requests across functions and portfolios.
  • Partner with recruitment, delivery, and vendor teams to ensure the right talent is aligned to the right work at the right time.

Business Partnering & Advisory

  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders by providing insights on capacity, costs, and workforce strategy.
  • Influence decision-making through meaningful data analysis and recommendations.
  • Support business planning cycles, helping leaders make informed resource decisions.

Deal Tracking & Resourcing Governance

  • Track incoming deals and opportunities from a resourcing perspective.
  • Provide visibility on pipeline vs. available capacity and highlight risk areas.
  • Ensure resourcing commitments align with business priorities and execution capability.

Data, Reporting & Cost Modeling

  • Maintain fact files and ensure data accuracy across workforce management systems.
  • Build and analyze cost models for staffing decisions, including internal vs. external mixes.
  • Provide regular dashboards, utilization reports, and insights for leadership reviews.

Communication & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, using tact, clarity, and tailored messaging.
  • Navigate challenging conversations with professionalism and constructive problem-solving.
  • Drive alignment across cross-functional teams through proactive and strategic communication.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

Qualifications & Experience

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in Workforce Management, Resource Management, or similar roles.
  • Strong expertise in forecasting, capacity planning, and staffing strategy.
  • Solid understanding of financial concepts including cost models, margin impact, and pricing structures.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment supporting multiple business units.
  • Excellent communication skills—ability to influence, negotiate, and articulate complex topics simply.
  • High attention to detail, strong analytical capabilities, and comfort working with data.
  • Proficiency in workforce tools, planning platforms, and dashboard/reporting technologies.
