The Technical Training Engineer Intern is responsible for developing, delivering, and sustaining technical training programs that enable workforce readiness in a manufacturing environment. This role combines engineering knowledge with learning and development expertise to support factory startup, ramp, and continuous improvement through effective technical training solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Assess technical skill gaps and define training requirements for manufacturing, engineering, quality, safety, and maintenance teams.
Design, develop, and deliver technical, safety, compliance, onboarding, and professional development training using classroom, handson, and digital learning methods.
Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure technical accuracy, standardization, and compliance of training content.
Develop course objectives, lesson plans, training materials, and assessments for engineers and technicians.
Support factory startup and ramp by enabling technical readiness for new equipment, processes, and technologies.
Manage and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring accurate training records and audit readiness.
Measure training effectiveness using defined metrics and data, and drive continuous improvement.
Support change management initiatives related to process and technology improvements.
Research and integrate new training technologies and best practices tailored to a manufacturing environment.
Support change management related to process improvements
Use MS Office 365 tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Power BI) to deliver standardized training solutions.
Should be a 3rd year student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering/industrial management, Business Administration, International Relation, Literature Studies, and/or other related technical majors.
Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills. Familiarity with statistical data analysis techniques.
Require to work onsite for 3-4 days per week and enroll in a 12-month internship program. Knowledge in designing and delivering training with diverse audience.
Excellent facilitation, able to engage learners across a variety of roles and backgrounds.
Adult Learning, ISD and Automation/AI skills is an advantage.
