Ready to make a Tech impact? Pernod Ricard is looking for a Senior Oracle Database Administrator to design, operate and continuously improve a robust, secure, and high-performing Oracle database environment supporting our global applications and infrastructure.

You will:
Install, configure, patch, and upgrade Oracle databases (from 11g to 19c+), managing schema changes, storage optimization, and RMAN/Data Guard for backup and recovery.
Monitor and enhance performance using tools like Oracle Enterprise Manager, AWR, ASH, and Tanium integrations to ensure high availability, redundancy, and disaster recovery (RAC, RMAN, Data Guard).
Enforce database hardening, encryption, access control policies, and ensure compliance with audit and vulnerability standards (e.g., CIS, Tenable).
Automate routine workflows (backup, refresh, monitoring) and contribute to the creation of global standards, SOPs, and technical documentation.
Collaborate with system, cloud, application, and data teams (internal and external) to optimize database infrastructure, support development teams, and participate in global technical improvement initiatives.
You have deep expertise in Oracle database administration, including RAC, ASM, RMAN, Data Guard, and Oracle Enterprise Manager.
You are proficient with scripting and automation (Ansible, Terraform, Shell/Python), and comfortable operating in both on-prem and Azure/VMware environments.
You understand Linux administration (RHEL/OL preferred) and have experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, SolarWinds, or Tanium.
You bring a proactive and analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and are comfortable working in a global, agile, product-based organization.
Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or other modern data platforms is a plus.
