Join our team as a Global Supply Chain Planner (GSCP) and become a driving force behind our supply chain planning team supporting Personal Systems! You'll be the mastermind, orchestrating the balance between supply and demand, ensuring our products are available when our customers need them. Planning is the heart of our business, where you'll blend data-driven insights with strategic planning to ensure our products flow seamlessly from procurement to production to delivery. Deep dive into forecasting, capacity management, constraint-based scheduling and new tool development as you navigate through the complexities of our supply chain network. Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
- ERP System Immersion: Gain practical experience by navigating through our ERP system to align demand, supply and capacity to support service objectives.
- Forecast Management: Lead cross-functional meetings aligning positive and negative forecast bias based on forecast trends and models. Get hands-on experience by interacting regularly with demand planning focal points to best support the business.
- Master Production Scheduling: Create rough cut capacity plan (RCCP) that is in alignment with customer requests. Manage manufacturing load ensuring component supply meets the plan requirements. The GSCP is a leader within supply chain that utilizes data to solve complex problems that lead to increased customer satisfaction.
- Supply Planning: Dive into historical data to identify patterns, seasonality, and trends. Work on projects that involve increasing proactive visibility to supply risk and driving future enhancements to mitigate repeat shortages.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Manage planning and scheduling for new product introduction and product transitions.
- Global Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain and enhance current business processes and solve issues. Engage in discussions, ask questions, and observe how decisions are made collaboratively to align supply with demand.
- Metrics Monitoring and Analysis: The GSCP has primary responsibility for aligning customer service, inventory levels and cost. Deep-diving root cause and corrective action will be critical within the function to ensure impactful change is created, measured and sustained. Develop and maintain master schedule to balance demand, supply and capacity.
- Continuous Improvement Involvement: Participate in learning and development events, quarterly process improvement projects, and assigned training aimed at streamlining supply chain processes and enhancing overall efficiency.
- Analytical Thinking: Interpret data, forecast needs, and solve complex scheduling problems.
