The role in a nutshell:

The Global Strategic HR Business Partner serves as a senior people leader responsible for driving people strategy, organizational effectiveness, and workforce capability across the global Finance organization, while also owning HR support for entity expansion, APAC regional delivery, and select global HR initiatives. This role partners closely with all levels of leadership to ensure people strategy, organizational design, and workforce capability are tightly aligned with business priorities, growth plans, and global operating models.

How you will make a difference:

Strategic HR Partnership – Finance (Global Ownership) (other Functions may be assigned)

  • Act as the global HR Business Partner for the Finance organization, owning the full employee lifecycle including organizational design, workforce planning, performance management, development, and succession.
  • Partner with Finance leadership to design scalable operating models, clarify roles and accountabilities, and support restructuring initiatives aligned with business evolution and growth.
  • Use workforce data and insights to proactively identify risks related to engagement, attrition, performance, and capability, and influence leadership decisions with evidence-based recommendations.

Regional HR Support – APAC

  • Provide strategic and operational HR support for the APAC region, ensuring alignment with global HR strategy while addressing local regulatory, cultural, and workforce needs.
  • Support regional leaders with organizational design, workforce planning, leadership development, and change management to enable sustainable regional growth.
  • Manage employee HR issues, including conflict resolution, employee relations, and responding to concerns to ensure a positive and compliant work environment. Provide guidance to leaders and employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and best practices, supporting timely and effective resolution of workplace matters.

Global Entity Expansion & New Market Entry

  • Own and evolve the global HR expansion framework supporting entry into new countries and markets, ensuring consistency, compliance, and scalability, while partnering closely with the relevant regional HR Business Partners to directly guide and coordinate the end to end expansion process for each new market.
  • Own reporting on market expansion, risk management & issue resolution and deliver consolidated status reporting across all active and planned market expansion initiatives, defining metrics and KPIs, identifying risks, dependencies, and roadblocks, and proposing solutions and mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, Operations, and external providers to deliver end-to-end HR readiness for new entities, including employment models, payroll, benefits, and workforce setup.
  • Build organizational capability across HRBPs to support expansion activities, reducing dependency on single points of expertise and strengthening long-term global resilience.

Global HR Projects & Transformation

  • Lead and contribute to global HR initiatives including talent development, career mobility frameworks, workforce capability programs, and HR transformation efforts.
  • Support M&A, integrations, and transformation initiatives by playing the key role in workforce planning, organizational integration, and cultural alignment activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement of HR processes, governance, and systems to enhance efficiency, scalability, and employee experience globally.

  • Senior strategic HRBP with demonstrated experience partnering with executive leaders in complex, global environments
  • Strong expertise in organizational design, workforce planning, and scaling teams in high-growth or transforming organizations
  • Proven experience supporting global expansion, multi-country operations, and regional HR delivery (APAC experience strongly preferred)
  • Highly analytical, commercially minded, and comfortable influencing at the executive level
  • Collaborative leader who builds capability across HR teams and drives enterprise-wide impact
