Job Description Summary

The Global Sourcing Intern will support the Global Sourcing Manager in managing day-to-day sourcing activities for apparel products. This internship role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with strong Excel skills who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and is eager to grow within global sourcing and supply chain operations.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate data entry and maintenance within Product Life Management software
  • Support the Global Sourcing Director & Managers with daily communication and coordination with overseas vendors
  • Participate in sourcing and cross-functional meetings as needed
  • Assist with product cost analysis, including reviewing and tracking cost components
  • Track, follow up, and coordinate product samples required by the business
  • Communicate and collaborate with the overseas Hong Kong office to support sourcing initiatives
  • Assist with general administrative and sourcing-related tasks as required
  • Acts as liaison between PD/Design, Merchants, and Vera Bradley Hong Kong (VBHK) teams
  • Partners with PD, Design and Merchants to manage key trigger dates/key deliverables and attend Product Review Sessions
  • Participates in production updates during cross-functional meetings and weekly review of open issues.
  • Other Job responsibilities as assigned

Education and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Supply Chain Management (SCM)Logistics, Business or related field
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially in Microsoft Excel (advanced skills highly preferred) with advanced knowledge of Power Point.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a fast paced and growing environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Positive personality with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
  • Willingness to work additional hours as business needs require

Salary Range

$20 – 25 per hour
