Job Description

Reports directly to the regional Training Manager within the Global Services and Support (GSS) Organization.

Join our team as a Global Services and Support (GSS) Trainer, where you will deliver world-class training to our colleagues. This role is pivotal in ensuring high learner proficiency and involves leading the creation of training materials while continuously improving our training strategies. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Deliver instrument, application, workflow, or interpersonal skill trainings at designated training locations.
  • Manage all administrative tasks related to training delivery, including preparation of instruments, kits, reagents, course communication, and training completion tracking.
  • Collaborate with Services Product Development teams and Territory Specialists to develop and implement learning programs for new product launches and updates.
  • Assist in the creation and upkeep of ongoing training programs, such as Instructor-Led Trainings (ILT), e-learning, and remote field-based learning.
  • Participate in GSS or site-related leadership tasks, encouraging strong connections.
  • Ensure effective establishment and upkeep of training facilities.
  • Drive continuous process improvement through problem identification and solving.
  • Present to and influence both internal and external groups, supporting Global Services and encouraging strong connections within the team.
  • Support the Field service team remotely or on site when required
  • Take on additional tasks as required.

Qualifications/Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience in a service, support, or training organization or similar.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Proficient in English.
  • Experience with complex analytical equipment like Thermo Fisher CE Sequencers, qPCR platforms, Automation systems, Next Generation Sequencers is desirable.
  • Proven experience instructing courses in technical and/or interpersonal capacities.
  • Structured work style with strong organizational and basic project management skills.
  • Strong communication abilities with the capacity to present to and persuade diverse groups.
  • Valued business-critical or niche expertise brought to bear by internal collaborators.
  • Strong teammate, role model, encouraging global team connections and alignment.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional and cross-regional projects.
  • Proficiency in e-learning technologies, digital learning concepts, and instructional build methodologies.
