About the Role:

The Segments and Solutions team plays a critical coordination role across the organization—aligning Sales, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, Solutions, Partnerships, PIRG, Data Operations, and RevOps around unified goals. By driving focus, enabling cross‑functional execution, and translating strategy into measurable impact, the team ensures that each segment receives a cohesive, intentional, and high‑performing experience from PitchBook. In short, they are accountable for accelerating growth, strengthening market position, and ensuring we consistently deliver value to the clients within their vertical.

The Global Segment Leader (GSL) is accountable for defining and driving PitchBook’s strategy and outcomes within a specific customer Vertical (Allocators, Banks, GPs, CSPO). Acting as the strategic lead and external face of PitchBook for their vertical, the GSL owns the segment perspective, identifies capability opportunities, sets growth targets, and ensures organizational alignment to deliver results. This role works cross-functionally across Sales, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, Solutions, Partnerships, PIRG, Data Operations, and Revenue Operations to translate strategy into measurable impact.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Partner with RevOps and Sales/CS leadership to shape ACV and churn targets, ensuring alignment with market realities
  • Collaborate with RevOps and regional leaders to define and refine target account lists
  • Coordinate SME resource allocation with leaders in Solutions, PIRG, Product, and Data Ops to support segment priorities
  • Represent the segment in company-wide investment and resource allocation decisions alongside the VP of Segment Leadership and CSO
  • Participate in high-impact client engagements to reinforce PitchBook’s strategic point of view
