Introduction
The Global Savings Controller (Cost Movement Controller) is responsible for governing and improving the global cost movement review methodology and ensuring accurate, transparent reporting of cost up, cost down, and cost avoidance. The role provides essential financial visibility and supports strong procurement governance across the organization.
This position also owns the maintenance and further development of tools, dashboards, and processes that support cost movement monitoring and savings performance tracking.
Your Responsibilities
Act as the finance business partner for Procurement globally on all cost movement–related topics, providing financial insight, guidance, and alignment.
Improve and govern the global cost movement review methodology, ensuring consistent application across categories, regions, and functions.
Assess, validate, and report cost movement impact (cost up, cost down, cost avoidance) in collaboration with Procurement and Finance stakeholders.
Maintain and further develop cost movement tooling, templates, and reporting solutions to support accurate and efficient tracking.
Monitor cost movement KPIs and financial impact across the organization and ensure timely, clear, and accurate reporting to management.
Deliver insights and financial analysis on savings performance, trends, risks, and opportunities.
Ensure savings documentation meets internal audit and compliance standards.
Integrate cost movement insights into budgeting, forecasting, and performance management cycles.
Collaborate closely with Procurement, Finance, and Business Unit Controllers to ensure alignment on methodology, data quality, and reporting standards.
What do we ask from you?
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively at different levels of the organization.
Proven capability in cost movement analysis, spend analysis, and financial impact assessment.
5+ years of relevant experience in Controlling, FP&A, Procurement Finance, or similar analytical roles. Strong preference for experience in Procurement Controlling.
Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with spend analytics tooling and ERP systems such as JDE is strongly preferred.
Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools is an advantage.
Structured, analytical, and detail-oriented, with a proactive mindset for improving processes and tools.
Excellent communication skills and ability to operate effectively in a global, matrixed environment.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).

This position offers a competitive salary range of € 4747 to € 6443 gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
