Who is your future team?
You will be part of the Product management team for Axis body worn solutions within the New Solutions Initiative department. We are a close-knit, energetic team of seven who work together in the same space, sharing information freely, supporting one another, and frequently brainstorming ideas together. Our team is full of energy and engagement, with clear goals that we work towards together.

What you’ll do here as Global Sales Engineer?
As Global Sales Engineer for Axis Body worn Solutions you will be responsible for supporting the Sales Engineers in the regions for success, i.e. be active in the sales and pilot phases, assist in the tender processes and be an interface to our partners. Additionally, you will proactively engage with our Technology Partners to drive business and feature growth. You will also act as an interface to our large global customers, working closely with the regions to ensure long term customer retention.
The support includes both proactive and reactive initiatives. You will be working on technical aspects of complex sales projects together with your peers in the region as well as supporting Sales in customer meetings. You will be the specialist in the integration of all components of the body worn solution, and the use and performance of the complete solution.
Axis Body worn Solutions includes hardware, firmware, mobile apps, management software and services and most of the products and functionality you will be working with are developed in our own projects at Axis. You will be expected to provide feedback from the market to the Body team to help to refine our solutions.

Who are we looking for?
You have a technical interest and natural system solution thinking. You have good communication and networking skills and are senior enough to be comfortable in taking decisions. You are also business oriented and have a good understanding of project sales cycle.
You have Relevant (Bachelor’s or Master’s) degree or similar and more than 5 years’ experience within system engineering and at least some years with customer relations. It is of great value if you have technical knowledge and experience from working with Axis body worn solutions, video management systems, mobile devices, cloud, and computer networks. You also have documented work with system solutions close to end customers.

New Solutions Initiative is globally responsible for Axis body worn offerings, including portfolio planning, product planning, managing the products' life cycle, pre-sales support, education & training, and handling complex support issues. Our interfaces are both internal (R&D, Operations, Sales, and Marketing) and external (customers, partners, and suppliers).
