This role will lead the global strategic and operational sales activities for the Terex Washing Systems brand. Key responsibilities will include overall sales management (both generation & growth responsibility), leading the existing team of sales personnel & developing both dealer network and direct sales channels. Strategic decision making & regional development of the network to deliver long-term growth of the TWS brand will also form part of this dynamic role.

What you’ll do

  • Strategic leadership – developing, monitoring, and adapting the strategic goals of the business to grow global sales and market share.

  • Sales management, responsible for the performance of the brand and accountability for its Sales performance

  • Responsibility for sales revenue, gross margin, SG&A expense, operating profit and inventory management and report on progress at the monthly management meetings.

  • Ownership of the Global sales forecast for the TWS brand, working cross functionally with the Sales, Compliance & Business Development teams, Regional Sales teams, Site Operations and Manufacturing teams to make decisions on production planning and inventory.

  • Lead & continue to develop the global sales team to achieve business performance targets.

  • Responsibility for the sales forecast within the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) for the brand, working cross functionally with Operations and Manufacturing to make production schedule decisions.

  • Key performance metrics beyond financial success will be price attainment and market share.

  • Strategy Leadership, developing a model for both global revenue and market share growth.

  • Forward thinking approach to business sales development, including input to new product development, cost reductions, product life cycle management and emerging technology considerations.

  • Ensure all dealer accounts are formally contracted and aligned to Terex Standards.

  • Issue & monitor annual business plans and targets for each dealer account.

  • Identify and implement a performance management system to directly manage existing dealers in their respective territories.

  • Develop geographical distribution coverage and sales channels into new customer segments.

  • Drive marketing campaigns and sales programs that improve brand image and deliver sales growth.

  • Present to end-user customers and key multi-national corporate accounts.

  • Attend industry events, trade shows, Dealer conferences, and exhibitions to promote the company’s products and services.

  • Build and maintain excellent dealer and end customer relationships,


What you’ll bring

Experience Level & Required Qualifications: 

  • Degree in Technical/ Mechanical Engineering or Business Management

  • Significant record of success in the industrial equipment industry with experience in Washing/ Wet Processing or related industry preferred.

  • International exposure / experience is required.

  • Effective in strategic and tactical decision making. 

  • Experience in developing and maintaining relationships with customers and dealers.

  • Ability to develop and implement business strategies.

  • Track record of success in direct and indirect people management, preferably across different functions and different geographies

  • Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate and interact with team members and outside visitors from different hierarchies and cultures.

  • Minimum of five years of cumulative experience in a similar position.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet specific targets.

  • Self-management skills.
