Key Responsibilities
Purchasing Strategy & Governance
Define global purchasing vision, roadmap, and annual priorities.
Ensure alignment with corporate goals and drive governance and process harmonization.
Commodity & Sourcing Leadership
Approve global commodity strategies and major sourcing decisions.
Build competitive supplier panels aligned with technology and industrial needs.
Supplier Relationship Management
Develop strategic partnerships with key suppliers.
Oversee performance, risk, compliance, and long-term development plans.
Cost & Budget Ownership
Own the global purchasing budget and deliver savings and productivity targets.
Set pricing, negotiation, and forecasting guidelines.
Risk & Business Continuity
Identify strategic risks and implement mitigation and diversification strategies.
Lead escalations on supplier issues.
Global Team Leadership
Lead and develop a global purchasing organization.
Define structure, capabilities, and a high-performance culture.
Responsibilities
15 years of experience in Purchasing in global industrial environment; ideally in a semi-conductor industry.
Strong leadership experience in matrixed and multi-site organization.
Proven track record of managing major global negotiations, leading high-stakes supplier relationships, and delivering large-scale transformation projects.
Expertise in corporate contracting, BU/Operations strategy alignment, supplier viability and geopolitical risk mitigation.
Professional certifications such as CIPS, ISM, Lean, or Supply Chain are an advantage.
Excellent communication, stakeholder-management, and influence skills.
Fluent in English; French proficiency is a plus.
