Job Description
As a Global Program Manager, you manage customer programs to drive the adoption of Rockwell Automation's products and services within Global Industry Accounts. You will understand and manage expectations of internal and external stakeholders to achieve success of the projects and strategic initiatives that comprise the customer program and to strengthen Rockwell's partnership with the customer and the supply chain ecosystem.. You will report to the Manager, Global Program Management Office and may work in a remote environment.
You will excel in project and program management, understand applications and market trends in at least one global industry (such as Automotive, Tire, Warehouse, Life Sciences, CPG, Oil & Gas, Mining), and be knowledgeable about Rockwell Automation products used in that sector.
Your Responsibilities:
- Manage the program from Engagement, Planning, Execution, Monitoring and Controlling to Closing
- Engage stakeholders and synthesize technical and commercial goals
- Assess risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful program outcomes
- Apply globally accepted Program Management processes
- Lead remote and diverse global teams
- Manage indirect global and geographic resources on program related activities with defined project objectives including OEM coordination
- Coordinate program related activities of global and regional domain experts and technical project goals
- Manage POV (Package of Value) financial activities
- Facilitate and document meetings both internally with the Global Account (GA) and Strategic Account (SA) sales teams
- Work with the EA and SA teams to develop opportunity pursuit plans
- Leverage data-driven insights and industry best practices to support decision making and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team
- Understand machine design, machine control and be able to coordinate control architecture from component level of products to architecture level of products.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Field

- The ability to travel 30% of the time to customers ((delete this bullet point if travel is not required for this role))
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- 8+ years of Project or Program Management experience.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
- Strong customer-facing skills at various levels of customer organization
- Experience working within a complex organizational framework, ensuring alignment of project deliverables with both client expectations and internal standards
- Understanding of Rockwell's organizational structure from distribution and sales to product & services businesses, as well as common processes like cost estimation, proposal development, and project delivery
- Basic knowledge of Rockwell Automation core products
- Experience in integrating emerging technologies and adapting to evolving customer needs
- Commercial experience and knowledge working directly with End User, OEM, and Channel Customers
