Global Product Manager (m/f/d) Autoimmunity

Position Overview:
The Product Manager Autoimmunity will develop the strategy for one or several lines of Autoimmunity products to maximize short- and long-term market growth in line with the company strategy. Responsibilities include full product-life-cycle management. This includes but is not limited to collaborating with various other departments of the company to describe goals for product development, market research, agree on clinical, health- economy and regulatory strategies, as well as to define customer requirements, and execution of product launches, and product training. This further includes to manage product improvement and quality programs or to contribute to marketing initiatives ensuring business growth and customer satisfaction with our existing product portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing global business strategy including situation analysis, pricing strategy, registration planning, defining needs for evidence generation, segmentation, targeting, positioning, revenue forecasting
  • Executing portfolio strategy and marketing plans to achieve business goals; recommend direction and product positioning for assigned products and lines
  • Identifying and defining product improvement and quality programs for our existing portfolio, and contributing to product quality programs as necessary
  • Maintaining knowledge of markets, customer needs, and competitive landscape
  • Leading the preparation of business cases and definition of product requirements in close cooperation with customer insights, market development or our commercial organizations securing to meet customer needs and validated revenue expectations
  • Coordinating efforts with R&D, Operations, Regulatory Affairs or Medical Scientific Affairs to support product design through all stages of product development until commercial release
  • Designing a marketing mix and go-to-market strategies to create competitive advantage, in collaboration with customer marketing.
  • Supporting worldwide business growth (short and long-term) with clearly defined goals, objectives, critical success factors, timelines, budgets and action items
  • Providing support to the global sales organizations, including KOL and customer visits.

Education

  • University degree in natural science (Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Immunology, etc.)
  • Master’s degree in Marketing or MBA is strongly preferred

Experience

  • Several years of global marketing experience in diagnostics, life science, or medical device industry, including product development, product improvement programs, and commercial strategy/tactics within a highly regulated, international environment
  • Experience in the autoimmune disease market and knowledge of autoimmune testing (strong plus)
  • 2–5 years of local customer-facing experience in sales, customer service, or local marketing
  • Demonstrated success collaborating and communicating in an intercultural environment
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strong, trust-based relationships with KOLs in close partnership with Medical Affairs

  • Desire to drive continuous improvement while recognizing team achievements
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize and integrate customer insights, draw conclusions, and translate findings into portfolio strategies and business recommendations
  • Excellent communication skills in English, effective across all organizational levels
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills; able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to present high-level information to diverse audiences including scientists, executives, and non-experts
  • Excellent strategic thinking with solid written and verbal communication abilities
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Office applications
