Works independently as part of the Global Product Implementation team (“GPI”) to drive delivery of Capital Group’s global product and investment group initiatives, working with and leading Investment Operations (IO) to prioritize demands and deliver services and capabilities.

Influences, prioritizes, and partners with Senior Managers, Directors and other Senior Business leaders to evolve the processes, tools and structure to develop, launch, scale and maintain products within IO and across CG.

Expected to lead with an influential point of view, demonstrating in-depth knowledge in investment products from both a client perspective and an operational perspective. 

Demonstrates broad knowledge in investment operations required to collaborate and provide leadership with the Product, Client, and Investment Groups, IT, Legal & Compliance, and IO to deliver assessments and requirements for investment products, product launches and product enhancement activities.

Leads projects of varying complexity independently, including planning, analysis, organization, implementation, and management of the corresponding project teams.

As a CG leader, demonstrates and models the Leading Capital Framework and participates in leadership within the highly engaged, value driven team.

Primary responsibilities:

Product Management & Oversight

  • Provides global leadership in support of the Product Group and product demands.

  • Leads projects / workstreams in support of GPI process efficiency initiatives

  • Participates in product roadmap planning and prioritization, makes recommendations for timing and scheduling of product launches

  • Influences and drives the evolution of the team and vision.

  • Drives the Product Development Lifecycle: Concept, Design, Launch, Stabilization, and Scalability including Ongoing Review & Maintenance.

  • Researches, understands and evaluates industry trends, to help inform product & capability roadmaps.

Skills/qualifications:

  • An experienced professional (10 years or more of relevant industry experience) who understands how to navigate a large global organization, communicates clearly, gains consensus, and supports time-sensitive product initiatives

  • Has a broad understanding of the asset management business and functions including portfolio management (across equity, fixed income and multi-asset investment strategies), operational processes, and legal and regulatory requirements

  • Relevant experience with European and UK domiciled fund vehicles and experience with active ETFs and private markets products is a plus

  • A high level of intellectual curiosity and analytical skills.

  • Ability to drive innovation through scalable AI solutions that align with our vision of enhancing global investment processes, empowering decision-making, and creating superior client outcomes.

  • Strong work ethic and an energetic, self-starter, with the ability to work on multiple tasks and manage unforeseen urgencies

  • Advanced project management skills

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
