Global Privacy Ops Specialist
San Mateo, CA (hybrid) -
will require coming onsite 2 times per week 

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Privacy Compliance Operations Analyst with a minimum of five years of privacy experience to join our global privacy operations team. Based in our San Mateo office, this role contributes to the day-to-day operations of the SIE Global Privacy team, with a focus on the Americas region. The position coordinates privacy operations, assists with assessments and program management, and collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report to the Senior Manager, Global Privacy Operations and contribute to daily privacy operations across the SIE Privacy team and business functions
  • Triage and coordinate privacy-related requests requiring review or action by the Privacy team
  • Contribute to the management of the global privacy program, including generating compliance reports, reconciling metrics, documenting processes, and utilizing privacy software tools to operationalize data protection compliance across the business
  • Administer compliance processes related to data subject rights requests (e.g., deletion requests, access requests)
  • Assist with privacy risk assessments (e.g., PIAs and DPIAs)
  • Respond to privacy-related inquiries; maintain data flow maps, data inventories, and Records of Processing Activities (ROPAs)
  • Contribute to the data breach response process in coordination with privacy counsel globally
  • Help deliver privacy training and awareness initiatives for employees
  • Perform additional privacy program tasks, documentation, and research as needed

Qualifications:

  • Experience managing CCPA consumer rights requests
  • IAPP certification (CIPM/CIPP/E preferred) or willingness to obtain certification
  • Experience with privacy management software tools
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of privacy regulations and compliance requirements, particularly across the Americas region (U.S., Canada, LATAM), including GDPR and CCPA
  • Experience tracking and reporting privacy metrics

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.
$124,000$186,000 USD
