Position Summary:
As part of the  HR Reward Team within APAC, the successful  candidate will partner with HR colleagues to provide consultation and organization of the relocation  processes within APAC. The successful candidate will interact with employees at various levels on a  range of topics / issues (complex, sensitive, routine, etc), requiring attention to detail, empathy,  ability to troubleshoot, taking ownership and accuracy of work while maintaining high quality  standard and ensuring data integrity.  

This role will report to the Global Mobility Partner, APAC (Manager) based in Singapore  and will support the day to day operations of the relocation processes as well as assist with ad hoc projects. The successful candidate will need  to plan, organize and direct all activities associated with Global Mobility (GM) in accordance with Airbus HR short and long term business strategies.

Primary Responsibilities:

Operational Activities 

  • Partner with HR colleagues in APAC to provide recommendations on expatriate relocation  packages and to deliver solutions to meet strategic business needs around mobility.

  • Responsible for a full range of global mobility services: Cost projection, Consultation to  Employee on package offerings, organizes and directs the relocation 

  • Liaise with stakeholders on immigration, destination and shipment services, address service issues as appropriate 

  • Day to day case management of existing expatriate population, including dealing with ad hoc  queries  

  • Expense Management: Process, organize and track efficiently on expatriate related allowances  / expenses for compliance reporting 

  • Exception Management: Professionally manage any policy deviations  

  • With the support of an external tax provider, the Candidate will be responsible for personal tax  compliance for the region, supporting on the topics of tax declaration, hypothetical tax  calculations, etc.

Vendor Management

  • Manage the performance of GM vendors. Ensure their  professional and excellent service to provide an optimal experience for employees and the  relevant stakeholders. 

Training

  • Provide training and guidance to HR colleagues in APAC to improve their competency ∙ Foster continuous improvement mindset with ability to challenge status-quo with new  perspective and new ways of working 

  • Support the set-up and continuous maintenance of the GM Process Book to ensure  an end to end holistic operation guide for business continuity within the APAC GM Team. 

  • Other duties reasonably determined from time to time by the Company

  • Partner closely, align, and share best practices with the Central GM team.

  • Support feasibility studies (legal, finance, tax, etc) on new GM policies launched in APAC, and help with its set up (end to end).

Secondary Responsibilities:

Tax (Preferred)

  • Knowledgeable on tax concepts 

  • Able to partner with the Company’s tax provider to offer tax compliance and consulting advice to adhere to tax regulations in the region, and optimizing tax strategies for both the company and its mobile employees.

Others

  • The successful candidate needs to have the adaptability to work with changing strategies and  projects directed by the Company. 

  • Other duties reasonably determined from time to time by the Company

Personal & Interpersonal Skills:

  • Degree and above in any discipline preferably in Human Resources,  Business Administration or Economics

  • At least 2 years of working knowledge in Human Resource, with  experience on Global Mobility Management. Experience is  appreciated in other HR topics such as in compensation & benefits,  payroll, income tax and social contributions, etc.

  • Strong command of Google Sheet skills to produce quality analysis 

  • Good understanding of international compensation, payroll and tax, expatriate benefits and relocation

  • Strong communication skills necessary to create succinct presentations. Business-level proficiency (written and spoken) in English is essential

  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle difficult situations and to provide  professional HR services to internal customers 

  • Highly motivated and adaptable – ability to work under pressure, handle high volumes, and  manage complex situations

  • For complex and unique situations, able to navigate through contractual, policy and national rules to establish pragmatic solutions for individuals and the Company. 

  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate  with clients at all levels.

  • Hold a continuous improving mindset and to challenge status-quo professionally.
