I&I Global Marketing Manager (Velsipity, Xeljanz & BSMs)

Velsipity was acquired as the cornerstone of Pfizer’s acquisitions of Arena pharmaceuticals, and our biosimilars portfolio includes the top selling biosimilar in history, Inflectra.

What you will achieve:

The Marketing Manager, reporting to the Velsipity, Xeljanz & Biosimilars Global Marketing Lead, will collaborate with global cross-functional, ICO, EMCO, and US teams to support the development of strategies and implement action plans to meet KPIs. The selected candidate will play an essential role within the dynamic Rheum & Gastro business, including developing / leading / supporting key strategic projects for Xeljanz throughout the Peri and LOE periods.

How you will achieve it:

  • Lead/Support a range of brand strategic projects to deliver on business plan
  • Manage global performance / KPI tracking
  • Manage agency relationships including budget management
  • Lead Xeljanz Med Ed strategic Initiatives including congress & masterclass activities
  • Active contribution to the development of the annual Global Brand Strategy Refresh
  • Partner closely and collaboratively with functional and regional colleagues including Commercial, Medical, GAV and legal to ensure strategies are aligned and executed to meet business goals.
  • Work closely with PGS to support optimization of supply
  • Lead CI and Market Research as required
  • Work with key customer/stakeholders/organizations as appropriate to build partnership and collaboration in order to define and/or deliver on relevant customer strategies.
  • Contribute to the culture of the I&I Global Marketing team
  • Conducts all activities and makes decisions that are in accordance with Company policies & SOPs, Pfizer Values, &global regulatory guidelines.

Basic Qualifications:

Must-Have

  • BS/BA degree required with a minimum of 4+ years in the pharmaceutical industry, including ability to develop & deliver upon marketing strategies with proven results
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Be a team player, be patient-obsessed and focused on Pfizer values: Courage, Excellence, Equity, and Joy by fostering innovation, customer focus, personal accountability and a commitment for results.
  • Adhere to all Pfizer Standard Operating Principles while executing business strategy.

Nice-to-Have

  • 2+ years of Marketing Experience preferred
  • I&I / Xeljanz experience a plus
  • Global marketing experience a plus
  • Self-starter but also take direction and drive execution
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and prioritize effectively
  • Change agile and dependable; ability to turn around deliverables in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with varied internal and external stakeholders to improve business performance

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $102,900.00 to $171,500.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 15.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
