Global Marketing Associate Director, CVRM

To support this ambition, we are seeking an experienced Marketing Associate Director to accelerate the commercial development across CVRM indications, shape the future of dyslipidaemia, and support the organisation for outstanding global launches.

The Global Marketing Associate Director, CVRM will report to the Global Marketing Director, CVRM.

Job overview:

The Global Marketing Associate Director will manage all marketing activities across Dyslipidaemia indications to support company objectives. This role requires an experienced marketer with deep understanding of the cardiovascular landscape, patient needs, and pharmaceutical commercialisation. The successful candidate will conduct market analyses, execute brand strategies, and work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, direct-to-consumer, and managed markets to enhance patient engagement and drive commercial success.

 

What you’ll do:

Brand Strategy & Marketing Plans

  • Lead development of brand strategy and marketing plans for within CVRM for Dyslipidaemia, including distribution channel solutions (digital, social media, inside sales)
  • Incorporate market analysis results into product strategy
  • Ensure quality, compliance, and measurable impact across all promotional activities
     

Market Analysis & Research

  • Conduct analyses of market segments, identifying key growth drivers, opportunities, and risks
  • Participate in and evaluate market research
  • Analyse promotions, public relations, and advertising associated with assigned brands/products
     

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with direct-to-consumer and managed markets teams to ensure successful positioning
  • Work closely with sales leaders to identify opportunities and issues
  • Coordinate regularly with Medical Affairs, R&D, Regulatory, Business Insights, Payor and Market Access teams
     

Programme Execution & Training

  • Execute patient support programs, including educational materials and digital tools
  • Participate in development of training for field/customer service personnel on brand information
  • Manage complex projects ensuring delivery against brand objectives

Global Initiative Roll-Out

  • Lead roll-out of global initiatives, projects, and engagement plans (campaigns, brand forums, congress strategy)
  • Engage closely with local marketing teams to ensure aligned execution
  • Collect and synthesize market feedback to refine guidance

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Engage with key external experts and priority stakeholders to inform promotional strategy
  • Participate in advisory boards and conferences
  • Support advocacy development and evidence-led storytelling
     

AI-Enabled Ways of Working

  • Champion responsible use of AI to enhance content creation, analytics and operational efficiency
  • Document learning and best practices for scale across the organization
     

Performance & Budget Management  

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate programme effectiveness
  • Develop revenue forecasts and business cases informed by customer insights
  • Manage allocated budgets ensuring cost-effective delivery
  • Ensure regulatory compliance across all marketing activities

Industry/Functional Experience

Required: 

  • Global Initiative Roll-Out
  • Lead roll-out of global initiatives, projects, and engagement plans (campaigns, brand forums, congress strategy)
  • Engage closely with local marketing teams to ensure aligned execution
  • Collect and synthesise market feedback to refine guidance
     

Desirable Skills:

  • MBA in relevant field
  • Experience in Consumer and/or Managed Markets strategy
  • Experience in Insight/Market Research
  • Sales and/or Sales Leadership experience
  • Experience in Emerging or DFL role
  • In-market experience launching specialty care products
  • Experience leading marketing campaign implementation in global role

Total Rewards:

The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $193,898 to $290,847. Our positions offer eligibility for various incentives—an opportunity to receive short-term incentive bonuses, equity-based awards for salaried roles and commissions for sales roles. Benefits offered include qualified retirement programs, paid time off (i.e., vacation, holiday, and leaves), as well as health, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
