The candidate is rightly equipped to gather, align and analyse the financial and operational performance on our so called Repair, Maintenance and Tyre (RMT) services and costs across all entities.
Ultimately the Vehicle Operations Insights specialist support his/her colleagues in becoming more data-driven and cost-effective while running their business in a controlled and efficient way.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, propose, implement and manage improvement actions based on the Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) working model.
- Reaches out to the countries to gather relevant data based on business needs, drives the collection process and provide guidance and support during data collection.
- Reviews and challenges the data provided by the countries on completeness, accuracy, consistency and quality.
- Execute deep dive deviation and benchmark analysis to identify root causes, define action plans and to compare country performances against its external and internal peers.
- Prepare presentations/reports with recommendations and follow-up actions for senior management: executive level, managing board, local management teams.
- KPI & Dashboard management: conduct analysis, understanding positive/negative trends. Responsible on delivering monthly KPI reporting to senior management at predefined dates
- Collect and classify best practices in terms financial and operational performances and share these practises with global expert community.
- Key internal collaboration partner: has to cooperate closely with internal stakeholders across countries to receive, review and discuss data analysis. Main internal stakeholders are local Operations, Procurement and Managing Directors. And your counterparts in the Global Functions, mainly Business Excellence, Finance, Global Procurement and Customer & Drivers Services.
- Key external collaboration partner: externally you deal mainly with external data providers.
Job Requirements:
- Strong analytical mindset and able to turn data into actionable insights.
- Pragmatic can-do mentality: focus on action.
- Data analysis experience (or proven ability to conduct quality analysis).
- Structured and taking full responsibility on delivering KPI reporting.
- Ability to set priorities.
- Adoption of Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) working model as core structure for insight.
- Experience of working in international, multicultural and cross functional environment .
- Solid understanding of the automotive industry and more specific in the in-life vehicle service domain (vehicle service and maintenance, body repair and tyre management).
- Technology savvy and appetite to explore artificial intelligence as methodology.
- Expert knowledge in Excel and other Business Intelligence tools.
- University degree (e.g. in informatics, technical, maths or business studies).
- Fluent English.
- Microsoft Power BI, Excel high proficiency.
- 5+ years of experience,preferably in a similar role in the fleet management/vehicle leasing business .
- Proven experience in data management with a strong business-driven approach. Ability to master and work effectively with multiple group IT applications.
