Role Title: Global Incentive Compensation Manager
Location: Irvine, California (Hybrid)
Role Overview
The Global Incentive Operations team ensures the accuracy and completion of the order-to-commission quota retirement process within Salesforce. This team manages ongoing attainment and associated operations for our indirect sales teams. In this role, you will provide guidance on resolutions while adhering to established policies and processes. This position is critical to our monthly and quarterly commission cycles and offers an outstanding opportunity to collaborate with the Global Revenue Operations Team.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Commission Management: Oversee the monthly commission process for indirect sales teams, ensuring calculations comply with commission plans and managing exception requests.
- System Administration: Manage sales compensation plans within the Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) tool.
- Sales Support: Act as a trusted advisor to the sales team by resolving inquiries via Slack or commission cases and processing adjustments as needed.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with upstream and downstream business functions to support projects related to sales enablement, SOX readiness, and system integrations.
- Strategy Execution: Collaborate with Design and Operations teams to execute policy decisions, including new fiscal year and mid-year changes.
- Process Optimization: Create and document policy changes; leverage technology and AI to drive efficiency.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data models and Salesforce objects to analyze gaps and implement process improvements based on existing functionality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, and/or 2+ years of relevant work experience.
- Strong experience with order management systems, preferably within a CRM environment.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to work effectively across functional groups.
- Detail-oriented and capable of prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to work both independently and as a collaborative team player.
Technical Skills
- Advanced: Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Docs, and Microsoft Excel.
- Intermediate: Salesforce Reports & Dashboards and Slack.
- Basic: Documentation.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience with ICM tools (e.g., Spiff, Xactly, Callidus, Varicent).
- Familiarity with Tableau (Basic), SQL, or Quip.
- Experience with AI tools (e.g., Gemini, NotebookLM, Slack Agents).

At Salesforce, we believe in equitable compensation practices that reflect the dynamic nature of labor markets across various regions. The typical base salary range for this position is $117,400 - $177,600 annually. The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
