Your role at Transformation, Operations & Insights 

As the Global HR Process Owner for HR payroll and absence in our Transformation, Operations & Insights unit you will… 

  • Own and govern standardized, scalable global HR payroll and time/absence process templates and related HCM modules, ensuring clear documentation and continuous improvement. 

  • Lead global roll-outs and localization of payroll and absence processes, ensuring alignment with country-specific legal, tax and collective agreement requirements and driving adoption. 

  • Partner with HR leaders, IT, Global Functional Teams, Finance and external vendors to translate business needs into system design, configuration, testing and deployment for payroll, time and absence. 

  • Ensure process-driven data quality, compliance and risk management (e.g., data privacy, payroll accuracy, auditability) in close collaboration with HR Data, Analytics & AI and relevant HR/Legal stakeholders. 

  • Define and monitor payroll and time-related KPIs, identify optimization and automation opportunities, and lead change management, communication and training for new or updated processes and system features.

Your profile 

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems or a related field; further qualification in payroll, HR or process / project management is a plus. 

  • Several years of experience in HR payroll and time / absence management in an international, matrix organization, including close collaboration with HR operations and Finance. 

  • Proven track record in designing, standardizing and governing global payroll and absence process templates and supporting multi-country roll-outs. 

  • In-depth practical experience with global payroll and time / absence solutions and related HCM modules 

  • Strong process management and analytical skills, including defining and using process KPIs (e.g., payroll accuracy, on-time processing, query volumes) for continuous improvement. 

  • English business proficiency is a must-have, German proficiency is a plus.
