JOB SUMMARY:

The Global Head of R&D CSO/CSU Delivery reporting to the Head of R&D Development Delivery leads financial controlling excellence for CSO/CSU activities across both Pharma and Vaccines divisions, managing an annual OPEX portfolio of €1 billion. This strategic role directs the CSU/CSO team across three global hubs (Bogota, Budapest and Kuala-Lumpur), ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence. The position plays a vital role in supporting CSO/CSU development projects, providing financial insights, and maintaining robust controls while partnering with key stakeholders within R&D. The incumbent will be responsible for implementing standardized processes, driving efficiency, and maintaining quality standards while supporting both Pharma and Vaccines.

 

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

Financial Control and Management

- Lead financial controlling activities for a €1.0 billion CSO/CSU budget for both Pharma & Vaccines

- Ensure accurate financial planning, tracking, and reporting for scope of responsibility

- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision making

Team Leadership

- Lead and develop a team of 9 specialized development controllers across three hubs

- Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality controlling services

- Establish clear objectives, expectations, and performance metrics aligned with broader organizational goals

- Foster a collaborative environment that promotes excellence and continuous improvement

- Build R&D capabilities and expertise within the team

Stakeholder Management

- Serve as  financial partner to R&D Development leadership teams across Pharma and Vaccines

- Build strong relationships with hub leaders and in-country operational teams

- Ensure alignment with global finance strategies

- Communicate financial insights effectively to non-financial partners

Process Excellence

- Ensure adherence to core mode

- Drive efficiency improvements in CSU/CSO financial operations

- Implement and maintain quality standards across all deliverables

- Monitor and report on team performance metrics

Risk Management and Compliance

- Oversee financial compliance for CSU/CSO activities

- Identify and mitigate financial risks in CSU/CSO operations

- Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures

- Support audit requirements and regulatory compliance

About you

Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

- 5+ years of relevant experience in financial controlling

- Experience in pharmaceutical/healthcare industry

- Understanding of R&D operations

The salary range for this position is :Ft13 171 200,00 - Ft17 561 600

Final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
