We are looking for a Global Head of Brand Events to elevate our global event ecosystem, shaping the brand activation strategy, enabling tools and frameworks for scale, and developing innovative formats and partnerships across key markets. We are looking for someone with a strong entrepreneurial spirit who takes ownership, brings new ideas forward, and thrives in building and evolving a global function. The Brand Events team plays a critical role in bringing our community together and translating On’s mission into meaningful, memorable experiences around the world.
Your Mission
- Set the global strategic vision for brand activations and events at On
- Develop immersive event formats aligned with global campaigns and Go-To-Market initiatives
- Identify and implement tools and technologies to elevate event experiences and enable scale
- Source, negotiate, and manage partnerships with relevant organizations to drive event impact and success
- Promote and amplify the full range of On’s brand activations across channels and markets
- Define global event brand standards and ensure consistent execution across all touchpoints
- Analyze event performance and data to drive continuous improvement and learning
- Enable and support markets to execute events in line with global brand guidelines
- Lead the development of communication frameworks across pre-, during-, and post-event moments
- Grow and strengthen On’s global community and fan base through impactful activations
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing global team of brand activation and event experts
Your story
- 10+ years of experience leading and delivering global events, with a proven track record of impactful brand activations
- 7+ years of experience managing and developing high-performing teams
- Ideally, experience within a global sportswear, athletic, or performance brand, with a strong understanding of community-driven marketing
- Experience working in a creative agency environment (in-house or external), with a strong creative and solution-oriented mindset
- Deep expertise across physical, digital, and hybrid event formats at global scale
- Strong leadership skills, with experience operating in highly matrixed, international organizations
- Entrepreneurial, proactive, and driven to innovate, optimize, and build new approaches
- Excellent communicator with an inspiring, collaborative, and positive leadership style
Your Team
Your team shapes and delivers On’s global brand events—from campaign launches and athlete moments to community activations and key brand experiences. They ensure every event reflects our brand, supports our strategic priorities, and creates meaningful connections with our community.
The team is structured across four core global streams: Event Strategy & Concept Development, Event Management, Event Operations, and Event Communications, and works in close partnership with our regional event teams to ensure strong and consistent execution worldwide.
