Who we are looking for

State Street Investment Management (“State Street IM,” formerly State Street Global Advisors or SSGA) is seeking a Global Head – Client Experience Products, Managing Director. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the asset management client‑experience ecosystem, a proven track record leading global product organizations, and the ability to define and execute a forward‑looking product strategy. This leader will drive transformation across our client experience platforms and services, foster innovation—including effective use of AI—and ensure operational excellence and strong risk‑management practices.


This role reports directly to State Street IM’s Global Head of Client Experience Technology and Business Services within the Chief Operating Officer (COO) organization.

What you will be responsible for

As Global Head – Client Experience Products, Managing Director, you will:

Product Strategy & Execution

  • Set and execute the global client‑experience product strategy with a focus on innovation, scalability, and future‑readiness.
  • Lead strategic initiatives and BAU programs that enhance the asset‑management client experience.
  • Manage the global Client Experience Products team responsible for roadmaps, enhancements, and operational excellence.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Build, develop, and lead a high‑performing global team of product managers, analysts, and project managers.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, continuous learning, and high‑quality execution.

Operational Excellence & Innovation

  • Leverage modern technology and AI to drive operational excellence and improve client outcomes.
  • Implement tools and processes that reduce manual work and strengthen platform reliability.

Risk, Partnerships & Culture

  • Establish strong risk‑management practices and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Build and manage partnerships with internal teams, control functions, and third‑party vendors.
  • Maintain alignment, transparency, and collaboration across stakeholder groups.
  • Promote a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement across global teams.
