Your role:
Own global inbound freight, duties, and design cost performance, including savings, budget, forecast, and actuals.
Partner with PC&L, plant finance, engineering, and SCM teams to execute plans, anticipate risks, and ensure proper financial recognition.
Lead global logistics reporting, freight capitalization, accruals processes, and weekly tariff impact tracking with customer recovery actions.
Implement and govern standard models for inventory variance capitalization and BBP material cost/savings consolidation and analysis.
Act as the finance/accounting expert for global SCM, bridging operational actions with Aptiv’s financial statements.
Coach and support finance professionals moving from local to global roles.
Lead ad‑hoc initiatives to improve SCM finance processes and forecast accuracy.
Your Background:
3–5 years of experience in finance/controlling, ideally at plant level, with exposure to SAP, BOM, product costing, and SCM/materials
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, eager to learn and comfortable in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
Proactive, autonomous team player with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across regions and time zones
Structured, data‑driven mindset, acting with ownership and objective judgment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills across different seniority levels
Advanced Excel skills and experience extracting data from SAP
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
