JOB PURPOSE
PHINIA is seeking a Global End User Computing (EUC) Manager to lead the strategy, delivery, and continuous improvement of PHINIA’s device, endpoint, and end user technology ecosystem across global sites. This role oversees modern workplace platforms, device lifecycle management, endpoint security, and global support standards to ensure a secure, reliable, and consistent user experience for employees worldwide. The EUC Manager will work closely with Infrastructure, Security, Workplace Experience, Collaboration, and Service Desk teams to drive modernization and operational excellence.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities
Lead PHINIA’s global EUC strategy, governance, and modernization across laptops, desktops, VDI, mobile devices, peripherals, frontline worker endpoints, and digital workplace technologies.
Oversee management and optimization of Microsoft 365, Intune/Endpoint Manager, Autopilot, Windows 10/11, identity integrations, and associated productivity and collaboration platforms.
Ensure global standardization of device images, configuration baselines, security policies, compliance profiles, and Zero Trust–aligned endpoint standards across all regions and user groups.
Drive the full device lifecycle - procurement, provisioning, zero‑touch deployment, patching, upgrades, refresh, warranty/repairs, and global asset management with accurate CMDB alignment.
Partner with Cybersecurity to implement and enforce endpoint security controls (MFA, Conditional Access, BitLocker, Defender ATP, app protection policies, device compliance, and threat response automation).
Collaborate with Workplace Experience and Service Desk teams to enhance onboarding, resolve user pain points, and improve overall digital employee experience (DEX).
Manage MSP and vendor relationships, ensuring SLA/KPI compliance, effective escalation management, contract adherence, and performance reporting.
Lead rollout of global EUC initiatives including Intune migrations, Autopilot expansions, OS and hardware upgrades, mobility programs, VDI/AVD improvements, and smart meeting room modernization.
Develop and maintain EUC documentation such as global standards, architecture diagrams, operational runbooks, governance guides, and endpoint support procedures.
Monitor EUC performance, incident trends, device telemetry, usage analytics, and user satisfaction metrics; drive continuous improvement and cost‑optimization initiatives.
Ensure compliance with PHINIA’s IT governance, audit, security, privacy, and data protection requirements across all endpoints and workplace platforms.
Evaluate and drive adoption of emerging workplace technologies including AI‑assisted support, virtual agents, endpoint automation engines, digital experience monitoring (DEX), self‑healing endpoints, and frontline workforce tools.
Enable proactive support and automation by integrating EUC platforms with monitoring, identity governance, ITSM tools, and workflow automation pipelines.
Coordinate EUC readiness for global programs including cloud transformation, security uplift initiatives, mergers/acquisitions, new site launches, and modernization roadmaps.
What we’re looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
10+ years of experience in EUC, End User Services, Modern Workplace, or IT Infrastructure roles
Hands‑on expertise with Microsoft 365, Intune/Endpoint Manager, Autopilot, Azure AD/Entra ID; Windows 10/11 and macOS (optional), mobile device management (iOS/Android); and endpoint security technologies including Defender, BitLocker, Conditional Access, and Zero Trust principles
Experience managing global EUC operations across multiple regions and time zones.
Strong understanding of device imaging, patching, software distribution, GPO/policy management, and hardware standards.
Familiarity with VDI platforms (e.g., VMware Horizon, Citrix, AVD) is a plus.
Experience working with MSP/SIAM models and ITIL-driven processes
Strong leadership and stakeholder management across global teams.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Customer‑centric mindset with a focus on UX and reliability.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressure.
Proactive approach to improvement, modernization, and innovation
Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, Endpoint Administrator, or Teams Administrator.
Azure Fundamentals (AZ‑900) or Azure Administrator (AZ‑104).
