About the Job
As a Global Demand Planner, you will play a key role in shaping accurate, data‑driven demand plans for our global B2B markets. You will analyze trends, challenge assumptions, and ensure full alignment within our S&OP cycle. Working closely with regional planners, commercial teams, finance, and supply chain, you will support predictable and stable business performance across global markets.
Your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Develop accurate, data‑driven global demand plans for B2B markets based on historical performance and market inputs
- Track Year‑to‑Date vs. Year‑to‑Go performance, identifying deviations, risks, and opportunities
- Challenge demand assumptions where forecasts are not aligned with trends or business drivers
- Monitor forecast accuracy and bias across markets, driving root‑cause analysis and improvements
- Ensure alignment between demand forecasts and financial targets, including budget and outlook cycles
- Identify and quantify forecast risks and opportunities, highlighting potential business impact
- Prepare clear, insight‑driven inputs for S&OP meetings, supporting informed decision‑making
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to deliver a single, transparent, and consolidated global demand plan
About You
We are looking for a unique and talented professional who brings along the following:
- High proficiency in English for effective communication across global teams; German is a plus
- 3+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain planning, or a similar analytical role
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights
- Solid knowledge of demand planning, forecasting methodologies, and S&OP processes
- Ability to identify patterns, challenge assumptions constructively, and spot inconsistencies
- Strong business acumen, including understanding of budgeting, financial variances, and key drivers
- Experience with ERP and forecasting systems (e.g. SAP, Anaplan) and data visualization tools (Excel, Power BI)
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field
- A structured, detail‑oriented working style with the confidence to influence stakeholders
