Global Cybersecurity Analyst

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Cybersecurity Analyst is responsible for protecting our global organization’s computer networks and systems by means of monitoring threats, investigating breaches, implementing security measures, identifying vulnerabilities and developing defense strategies. As a cybersecurity analyst, you’ll be tasked with providing leadership guidance on vulnerabilities while creating and implementing regulations along with completing and communicating customer audits as requested.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure internal technical documentation, manuals, and IT cybersecurity procedures are maintained
  • Responsible for performing detailed security assessments and reviews of systems, applications, and infrastructure components
  • Operate and maintain security tools, including intrusion detection systems, endpoint protection, and security information and event management (SIEM) systems
  • Monitor and improve cybersecurity protocols
  • Foster a culture of security awareness and best practices within the global organization
  • Remain up to date on the latest Information Technology and cybersecurity developments
  • Perform penetration tests or work directly with vendors to assess potential security concerns
  • Conduct audits to determine security violations or vulnerabilities
  • Implement and/or enhance upon existing security controls
  • Upgrade networks to adhere to industry best practices
  • Research, test, and implement security technology
  • Developing firewalls for network infrastructure
  • Grant privileges to users based on their needs and use cases
  • Other projects assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • BS in Computer Science, related to cybersecurity and/or applicable certifications
  • Minimum 5 years of IT experience in a multi-site global manufacturing organization
  • Experience with cybersecurity requirements (i.e., ISO27001, CMMC, DoD, etc)
  • experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), antivirus, proxies, firewalls
  • Endpoint management, particularly with computers, servers and mobile devices

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be a “hands on”, energetic, driven, and inquisitive technically
  • Proactively work with other members in the organization across all levels
  • Ability to adjust schedule to meet with team members from global sites

Salary Range: $90,000-$110,000
