Heliosx

Global Compliance Manager

London Full Time

Ready to revolutionize healthcare, making it faster and more accessible than ever before?

How we started:

Founded in 2013 by Dwayne D’Souza, HeliosX was built on a simple but powerful idea: healthcare should be easier to access, faster to receive, and centred around the individual. From day one, we’ve grown without external funding; scaling profitably through technology, disciplined execution, and deep medical expertise. What started as a challenger idea has become one of the most significant healthcare platforms operating globally today.

Where we are now:

We’ve earned the trust of millions of people worldwide through category-leading products and well-known brands, including MedExpress, Dermatica, ZipHealth, RocketRX, and Levity. A key driver of our success is vertical integration; we operate our own manufacturing and proprietary products, led by in-house medical teams, researchers, and pharmacists at the top of their fields.

In 2025, HeliosX treated more than 1.7 million patients globally and reached £781m in revenue, representing +337% year-on-year growth and cementing our position as the clear market leader in the UK. That growth translates into real-world outcomes: our weight-loss treatments helped patients lose 8.5 million kilograms of excess weight in 2025 alone, contributing to an estimated 1,300 fewer cardiac events. This is growth with measurable, life-changing impact at scale.

Today, we operate across four international markets, with successful launches in Germany and Canada and continued expansion in the US. We were also recently recognised in the Sunday Times Top 100 fastest-growing tech companies, further validation of both our momentum and our ambition.

Where we’re going:

2026 is a step-change year. Our ambition is to reach £1.6bn in revenue, expand from four to eight global markets and significantly broaden our condition and treatment portfolio. Over the coming years, you’ll help shape HeliosX into a truly world-leading healthcare partner; one that combines scale, speed, and clinical rigour to redefine how personalised care is delivered. Joining HeliosX now means building systems, teams, and products that will define the next decade of digital healthcare, and doing work that genuinely improves lives, at global scale.

There’s never been a more exciting time to join HeliosX. Come be a part of making our dream of easier and faster healthcare a reality!

About the Role

HeliosX is seeking a global Compliance Manager to play a central role in strengthening and scaling the company’s corporate compliance program as the business continues to grow and expand internationally. Reporting to the Head of Legal, this role will focus on putting clear, workable compliance foundations in place, improving visibility of risk, and supporting effective decision-making at executive and board level.

This is a corporate compliance role, focused on policies, frameworks, training and risk reporting within a fast-growing international business. This role would be a great fit for someone who has previous experience building and designing a compliance program, is comfortable working through ambiguity, and takes a pragmatic approach.

You will work closely across the Clinical, Finance, People and Operations teams. While you will collaborate closely with the clinical team and your work will overlap, this role does not own clinical or regulatory compliance.

What you’ll do

  • Run a gap analysis of our existing compliance framework and requirements to identify targeted next steps, including governance and oversight arrangements that are appropriate for the company’s size, structure and stage of growth
  • Design and embed a scalable corporate compliance framework that supports a growing regulated business working across day-to-day operations in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Develop and maintain core compliance materials, including policies, procedures and standards (excluding clinical and regulatory compliance).
  • Ensure complex legal and regulatory requirements are transposed into clear, practical actions, supporting teams as they introduce new controls, disclosures or processes.
  • Maintain a clear view of corporate compliance risks across the group, including identifying new or emerging issues as the business grows.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to run periodic risk assessments, helping to identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks across the various business functions and geographic regions, developing risk registers, metrics and dashboards that provide meaningful insight for senior leadership.
  • Regularly analyse and use data creatively to improve internal processes and act on developments in compliance regulations and laws, make sure our controls are up to date, and report your findings to the Head of Legal to use in executive and board reporting.
  • Conduct desktop due diligence on our supply chain and partners.
  • Work in partnership with the People / Training & Development team to design and deliver training and communications on our policies and procedures, to make sure employees have a clear understanding of compliance obligations and ethical standards
  • Act as the subject-matter expert for corporate compliance topics, contributing materials, guidance and case studies rather than owning delivery.
  • Support international expansion by identifying corporate compliance considerations in new markets, such as governance expectations and internal controls, ensure we are compliance-ready for launch.
  • Support the operation of the company’s whistleblowing arrangements for compliance-related concerns across all jurisdictions.
  • Conduct internal investigations, in conjunction with Clinical, People and other stakeholders to address any alleged breach of rules, regulations or policies, and develop other measures designed to enforce our Code of Conduct, ensuring that investigations are handled fairly, consistently and efficiently.
  • Work with Clinical, People and other stakeholders to ensure investigations are handled fairly, consistently and efficiently.
  • Help ensure that outcomes and learnings are reflected in improvements to controls, policies, training or ways of working.

Who You Are

  • Significant experience (typically 6+ years, or equivalent) in a corporate compliance, risk, governance or internal controls role.
  • Demonstrable experience building or improving compliance approaches in fast-growing or developing environments.
  • Strong background in compliance risk management, including preparing materials for senior leadership or board-level discussion.
  • Comfortable working closely with senior stakeholders in commercially driven organisations.
  • Practical, solutions-focused approach, with the confidence to exercise judgement rather than relying on rigid rules.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain risk clearly and proportionately to non-specialists.
  • Exposure to regulated sectors such as healthtech, fintech, payments or similar.
  • Experience supporting international operations or expansion.
  • Familiarity with recognised compliance or risk frameworks and governance practices.
  • Experience working alongside legal and clinical teams without duplicating regulatory ownership.
  • An additional language would be advantageous (especially German or Portuguese)
