We are actively seeking a Global Client Environments Engineer to join the Global Client Onboarding team. This is a remote position located in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Global Client Environments Engineer works directly with Rimini Street's Clients to manage the process of establishing remote access to support all of Rimini Street product offerings.  This role is a demanding mix of project management, problem resolution and risk assessment and management.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Manage technical projects for multiple clients simultaneously while liaising between multiple internal and external stakeholders

  • Resolve complex technical issues leveraging your core knowledge of various ERP products (JD Edwards, Oracle E-Business Suite, Hyperion, and SAP) to liaise with our extensive support staff

  • Skillfully addresses client questions or concerns, including difficult or pointed questions as needed

  • Installs software tools associated with supported ERP products

  • Hosts calls with clients and prospects to guide them through Rimini Street Technical Onboarding requirements

  • Plan and manage projects to establish remote access to a client’s network

  • Manage technical tasks related to performing a software archive at client site or via a cloud hosted solution

  • Manages multiple projects in Salesforce Collaborative Product Development tool

  • Executes continual process improvements to improve efficiency and effectiveness

  • Tracks and Records evidence for ISO compliance and ensures timely status updates

  • Host and participate in client calls off normal business hours as required to address and help resolve mission critical tasks for clients

  • Be able to offer alternative solutions to client remote access or environment related issues, under the pressure of a tight deadline

Location

  • Remote / Sao Paulo, Brazil

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in information sciences, Computer Sciences or related area

Experience

  • For one or more of the following ERP Application suites (JD Edwards, Oracle E-Business Suite, or SAP) with a primary focus on Oracle E-Business Suite or SAP

  • Minimum 5 years of technical experience with ERP applications

  • Experience of ERP implementation or upgrade process

  • Familiarity with remote access connectivity methodologies

  • Exposure to Mainframe, Windows and UNIX based environments.

  • Decisive and driven personality

  • Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines

  • Able to work independently and as part of a diverse remote-based team

  • Exposure to ISO 9000/9001/27001 processes is a plus

  • The ability to work remotely in a virtual environment

Skills

  • Possess strong consulting-type background in the areas of installation and technical configuration

  • Project Management experience essential

  • Impeccable client communication and relationship building skills

  • Ability to simultaneously track and manage multiple projects

  • Knowledge of other ERP applications preferred

  • Can effectively convey difficult technical concepts to a variety of audiences

  • Communication skills, both written and oral, should be exceptional

  • Must be fluent in Portuguese and possess ability to hold business conversations

Desired Qualifications

  • ITIL Certification preferred

  • Project Management Certification preferred
