Description -

Business process engineering focuses on new business processes, how to diagnose problems with an organization's current methodology, and how to redesign, reconstruct, and monitor processes to ensure they are effective.

What a Global Business Process Engineer does at HP:

  • Identify the customer needs, analyze existing processes to identify its strengths and weaknesses, provide solutions to problem areas, and optimize overall operations
  • Understand the different Field & Channel processes across markets to identify opportunities, work on possible solutions and pursue global standardization
  • Establish a communication bridge between the market SPOCs and different teams such as CCC, CC, Supply Chain, IST, Finance etc.
  • Partner up with global BPEs and Digital innovation team every time an automation solution needs to be implemented
  • Ensure new processes required for global guidelines are redesign, reconstruct, and monitor processes to ensure they are effective
  • Capability to lead E2E projects/initiatives bringing the correct structure and governance

  • Build relationships and work collaboratively; effective verbal/ written communication is key to be successful in this role
  • Anticipate stakeholder needs and provide a fast solution to gain credibility and trust
  • Proven ability to identify, assess and solve problems
  • Strong analytical skills to assess processes within the organization and identify opportunities
  • Ability to persuade and influence others to change or adjust existing or new processes
  • Use best practices to carry out business process analysis, re-engineering, process measurements and change management activities
  • Work with other process engineers in integration of new and existing business processes
  • Prioritize and execute projects for ongoing business improvements
  • Provide technical advice on processing technology, capability, risks, costs

Technical skills:

  • Lean Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt) certification.
  • Excel and Power Point knowledge is a must
  • BPM (Business Process Management) knowledge.
  • PM (Project Management) certification will make the difference.
  • Management of Change (ADKAR model) is a plus
