What You’ll Do

  • Lead Strategic Marketing: Develop and champion cross-functional brand plans that accelerate growth for Abbott’s Oncology and Biosimilar portfolio.

  • Drive Market Insights: Initiate research to uncover unmet needs and enhance customer experience, translating insights into actionable strategies.

  • Shape Brand Positioning: Define global positioning and messaging that differentiates our brands and resonates with healthcare professionals and patients.

  • Deliver Launch Excellence: Create and implement global launch plans for new products, ensuring seamless execution across affiliates.

  • Collaborate Globally: Build strong partnerships with regional and local teams, providing guidance and support for effective marketing execution.

  • Optimize Resources: Manage budgets strategically to maximize impact and ROI.

  • Monitor Performance: Track progress, share best practices, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Lead global cross-functional brand teams

What We’re Looking For

  • Education: University degree in Science or Business; MBA or postgraduate marketing qualification preferred.

  • Experience:

    • 10+ years in pharmaceutical/oncology marketing or sales, ideally with global or regional exposure.

    • Proven success in Oncology and Biosimilar brand management.

    • Experience in emerging markets (LatAm, Asia, Middle East & Africa) is a strong advantage.

  • Skills:

    • Strategic thinking and foresight.

    • Expertise in brand building and multi-channel engagement.

    • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.

    • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

  • Languages: Fluency in English required; additional languages (Spanish, Arabic, Mandarin) are a plus.
