Check in inventory, supervise volunteer staff, pricing, place orders
Arrange inventory, coordinate with volunteers to fill needs, bookkeeping, approval of checks, manage online store, coordinate with committee on Holiday events.
Department: Volunteer Services
Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours a week
Shift: Primary Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm, One evening a month: 5:00pm - 11:00pm. Additional even hours for special events may be required.
Required: High School Diploma
Pay: Based on experience, starting at $18.68 per hour.
Responsibilities
Assigns work and schedules staff appropriately., Determines appropriate pricing for gift shop merchandise., Effectively manages gift shop cash flow., Ensures that all volunteers have a clear understanding of their responsibilities and assists those who exhibit a need for assistance., Monitors the maintenance of accurate bookkeeping records and prepares reports to demonstrate gift shop activity and success., Oversees selection of merchandise for the gift shop, which may include attending various display shows and obtaining input from volunteers and customers., Plans, prepares, and adheres to fiscal year budget for gift shop., Provides recognition for good work performance and provides for guidance in situations where a modification to behavior or work performance is needed, consulting with Director, Volunteer Services as appropriate., Serves as an ex-officio member of the Gift Shop Advisory Committee and Guild Board.Requirements
