Treasury and Business Finance (TBF) owns the Treasury and Investment Banking Finance controls and provides insights on Treasury and Business performance. TBF is a control function with a critical role of ensuring integrity, completeness, and accuracy of the Bank’s financial books and records. The group performs the Product Control function, which entails providing transparent and accurate valuation and appropriate regulatory control to avoid reputational damage to the Bank. In Deutsche Bank, this control function leverages on a multi-skilled team with capabilities to understand the financial impact of trades from the analysis of Risks and Profit and Loss up to the substantiation of the Balance Sheets and interacts with a diverse set of stakeholders.
Treasury and Business Finance is responsible for the production, validation and reporting and analysis of daily P&L including attribution, month end financial statements including substantiation, and disclosures, for their area, in line with applicable internal policies and external regulatory, statutory and control frameworks.

Your key responsibilities
Daily preparation, analysis, validation and explanation of P&L numbers for trading books considering their risk positions, market movements, new trades and other economic influences.
Be responsible for the key controls that support the timely closure of the Bank’s books and records at month-end, the integrity of financials through active monitoring, review and controlling to ensure its completeness and accuracy.
Work in close contact with the trading desks, market risk, valuation units, regulators and auditors.
Through this role you will have exposure to investment banking products, allowing you to understand why and how an investment bank generates revenue.
Your skills and experience
Bachelor’s degree in either Math, Finance, Economics, Accountancy, Business, or Management
