German-speaking Knowledge Manager

What success looks like in this role:

As a German-speaking Knowledge Manager, you will oversee and coordinate ITIL-based service support processes to ensure high-quality service delivery across assigned clients. You will manage core IT service management areas, including Incident, Major Incident, Problem, Request, and Change Management, with a focus on continuous service improvement.

You will act as a key point of contact between client-facing teams, internal stakeholders, and external partners, while also supporting Major Incident Management by leading bridge calls and ensuring efficient incident resolution.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as the main contact for Major Incident Management (MIM) processes and lead incident bridge calls

  • Drive continuous improvement and quality assurance across ITSM processes

  • Monitor and review changes, perform post-implementation reviews, and document Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

  • Analyze problem trends and service request data to identify improvement opportunities

  • Facilitate service management meetings (e.g. CAB, Daily Operations, Problem Reviews)

  • Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and vendors to ensure smooth service delivery

  • Ensure compliance with Service Levels, XLAs, and operational targets

  • Prepare reports and communicate service performance and improvements

You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • BA/BS degree and 4–6 years of relevant experience, or equivalent

  • Fluency in German and English (written and spoken)

  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Request)

  • Experience in service coordination or IT service management in a client-facing environment

  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
