The Kanban Manager is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing Kanban systems for project and workflow management across teams or departments. This role ensures continuous delivery, visual management of work, and process improvement by promoting Kanban principles and facilitating collaboration.
This position is vital for helping organizations achieve flow efficiency, transparency, and incremental improvements, supporting delivery teams in reaching their goals with minimal disruptions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage Kanban boards for multiple teams/projects.
Coach and educate team members and stakeholders on Kanban principles and practices.
Facilitate regular Kanban meetings, including daily stand-ups, replenishment meetings, and review sessions.
Monitor workflow, resolve bottlenecks, and enable smooth flow of work items.
Collect and analyze metrics (lead time, cycle time, throughput) to identify areas for improvement.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support Lean/Agile transformation efforts.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Materials managers, and Leadership to align goals and priorities.
Report on team progress and performance using Kanban analytics.
Maintain transparency and visibility of project status across teams.
Lead efforts to evolve Kanban practices to fit team or organizational context.
Requirements:
Proven experience working with Kanban, lean, or agile methodologies.
Strong facilitation and coaching skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Experience with digital Kanban tools
Analytical mindset; experience working with process metrics.
Ability to drive change and promote continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:
