Summary
The position of design intern will provide technical and functional support to design activities in the field and office, assisting with the development and review of project drawings, plans, and specifications.
Responsibilities
Assist with preparing and reviewing design drawings, plans, and related documentation under the supervision of senior designers.
Support the research and selection of materials, finishes, and products for ongoing design projects.
Help update and maintain project schedules, ensuring key design milestones are tracked and met.
Assist in organizing, tracking, and maintaining inventory of design materials, samples, and supplies.
Support documentation of changes and revisions to design plans and drawings.
Contribute ideas and provide feedback during team discussions regarding design development and problem-solving.
Collaborate with team members, consultants, and vendors to support various aspects of the design process.
Minimum Requirements
Must be in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Design, or in a Master’s program.
Excellent command of Microsoft Excel.
