Currently we are looking for exceptional Generalist, HR, Poland to join our team in Lodz, Poland.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Generalist, HR, which sits within the HR department, is a dynamic role that works across HR functions. This position involves developing, administering, and ensuring compliance with HR policies, managing the employee lifecycle from hiring and onboarding to termination and records maintenance. Additionally, the role covers handling employee and labor relations, facilitating effective communication, coordinating and/or administrating rewards programs, delivering HR-related training, and managing Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS). Generalist, HR, supports the HR Manager in day-to-day operational and business-related activities.

This position is offered as a fixed-term replacement contract for a period of approximately 18-20 months.

Core responsibilities:

  • Administration and maintenance of employee and payroll data in Workday and HR workflows, ensuring data accuracy and compliance, GDPR compliance 

  • Ongoing cooperation with payroll providers and support in payroll‑related processes

  • Collaboration with key stakeholders, including Finance, Treasury and HR Core departments

  • Administration and coordination of employee benefits programs, including ongoing support for employees, cooperation with benefit providers 

  • Coordination of the onboarding process, including training organization, documentation updates, and onboarding materials 

  • Providing HR support to employees and managers across all stages of the employee lifecycle 

  • Preparing and delivering internal employee communications, including co‑creating content for newsletters, flyers, internal posts etc.

  • Coordination of students focused initiatives, including cooperation with student organizations, administration and delivery of the internship program, and organization of job fairs and employer branding activities  

  • Coordination of employer branding and employee engagement activities 

  • Organization and support of employee events (e.g. Santa Claus Party) and employee‑driven initiatives 

  • Support recruitment processes when required 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Masters Degree in Human Resources or equivalent (preferred)

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in HR (required)

  • Languages: English min. B2 is a must (both speaking and in writing); Polish: min. B1 level

  • Experience working with HR systems – Workday (required)

  • Strong MS Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

  • Knowledge of the Polish Labor Code, familiarity with payroll legislation in Poland is an advantage

  • Excellent verbal & written communications
