The DuPont Vespel® Plant currently has an opening for Maintenance Multi-Craft Mechanic. If you are an enthusiastic team player who is seeking a new opportunity, then this is the role for you!
The plant is a 24/7 production facility. This is primarily a day shift position (M-F 6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.) with some overtime in the form of extended hours, weekend and occasional evening or weekend call-in work.
Primary focus is to provide maintenance support to plant facilities and operations by performing preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment. Maintenance team members are responsible for the safe removal, assembly/disassembly, repair, installation and improvement of highly specialized production equipment.
Employees are expected to support all Safety, Environmental, Quality and Personal Development activities/systems.

The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Complete general maintenance and equipment repairs in an accurate and safe manner
Flexibility, initiative, and perseverance to troubleshoot and solve complex problems
Maintain complete records, manuals, technical references, prints, and diagrams associated with all plant maintenance and repair activities
Interpret blue prints, sketches, and verbal instruction.
Update work instructions, procedures, and other media
Use desktop computer-based systems such as SAP, ETQ Reliance, email, and MS Office Suite, etc.
Basic knowledge of hydraulics operations
Install and maintain hydraulic equipment
Experience with compression molding presses and hydraulic presses is helpful.
Minimum Competencies Required:
High School diploma or GED equivalent
A trade/journeyman certificate or higher in a maintenance, mechanical, or related field
3+ years of experience in industrial plant maintenance on process equipment in the following:
Pumps, compressors, rotating equipment, etc., HVAC (boilers, cooling towers, air compressors, chillers, etc.)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to follow and help write detailed maintenance procedures

Be able and willing to wear all PPE required, including a respirator both continuously or intermittently throughout the shift, for a high hazard chemical industrial manufacturing environment
Climb up/down staircases, ladders, and scaffolding on an hourly/daily basis to perform job tasks
