ABOUT THE ROLE

As we pursue that mission in the UK, we're looking for a passionate and talented General Manager to evolve and lead the execution of the UK market strategy.

Reporting to the VP & GM, International (based in New York City), you will have P&L ownership for the UK, working closely with functional leadership within the global matrix organization to achieve market revenue and profitability goals. The General Manager will enable the effective operation of the global matrix organization by driving business focus across functions. You will also act as Peloton's spokesperson for the market for internal and external stakeholders.

The successful candidate must be available to work from Peloton's London office location at least 3 days per week and must also be open to flexible hours.

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON

  • Drive strategy, business, and P&L performance at market level.
  • Set and agree on market-level objectives and key results (OKRs), and coordinate delivery with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Support the coordination and delivery of cross-functional strategic and BAU (Business As Usual) initiatives in the Market.
  • Provide direction and collaborate with the global retail team on the end-to-end negotiation and implementation of new distribution partnerships, as well as the relationship building and growth of existing distribution partnerships.
  • Provide direction and collaborate with dedicated and global marketing stakeholders on the UK marketing and media strategy, calendar, and execution.
  • Partner and collaborate with the Peloton Commercial Business Unit on commercial partnerships and opportunities.
  • Creates, maintains, and fosters the local team culture, supporting team development, engagement, and collaborative ways of working.
  • Lead and coordinate a local Leadership Team composed of local functional leaders.
  • Enable exceptional experience at each Consumer and, once converted, Member touch point throughout the lifecycle.
  • Be the voice of the UK business within the organization and to external stakeholders and media, as required.
  • Help build relationships (in collaboration with the Global PR team and local PR agency) with key local members of the press and influencers in the local market.
  • Help define and implement global standards to enable scale across markets.

WHAT YOU BRING TO PELOTON

Required Qualifications

  • Proven track record in successfully running omnichannel businesses with experience in omnichannel distribution, marketing, and operations.
  • Proven experience of leading high-growth businesses.
  • Strong operator with a track record of developing and leading regional markets within a global organization.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence peers and partners at all levels.
  • A global thinker with a strong understanding of local consumer trends.
  • Highly effective in building relationships and working collaboratively across multiple functional groups and external partners to drive business goals.
  • Superior analytical skills – ability to formulate logical, data-driven business insights.
  • Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of direct-to-consumer businesses, ideally in digital marketing and subscription business.
  • Resilient leader, a self-starter, adaptable in dynamic and complex operating environments.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and highly matrixed organization.
  • Experience leading large-scale and complex business with senior internal and external partners.
  • Builder of successful teams and able to nurture and retain talent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in consumer electronics, premium consumer brands, and/or subscription businesses.
  • Experience working within a US-headquartered organization.
  • Affinity with technology and strong bias for innovation
