What this job involves:

307 Queen Street is a 25 level A-Grade office tower located in the centre of Brisbane's coveted 'Golden Triangle' precinct. The premium location provides easy access to a multitude of transport options and local amenities, positioning it as a prestigious office destination in Brisbane's CBD.

 

The General Manager will lead, manage and mentor the Property Management team based at 307 Queen Street, which will comprise of a Facilities Manager and an Assistant Property Manager.

A snapshot of the role:

  • Lead and manage a team of property professionals and provide leadership to the management team to maximise effectiveness and efficiency and develop their strengths, skills and knowledge.
  • Deliver exceptional quality service to the client, as assessed and measured by client feedback.

  • Ensure the timely and accurate delivery to the client and JLL senior management of analysis and information for the asset plan, monthly reports, owner’s annual reports, team and property business plans and corporate accounts and other reports and information as required.

  • Ensure that there are no major risks associated with public liability, fire and life safety, essential services, non-essential services, the staff, office and contractors. 

  • Lead the team to develop effective and accurate asset plans, budgets and financial reports.

  • Make appropriate and acceptable recommendations in relation to asset strategy, capital works, leasing deals, etc.

  • Participate as the property management representative in the development Project Control Group for tenant fit-outs

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, confident leader with proven management proficiency who can effectively handle stressful situations, adapt to rapidly changing environments, and work collaboratively as a team player to achieve performance targets through strategic problem-solving and solution-focused thinking.

  • Previous 5+ years property management experience is required with a thorough knowledge of all property related functions and the Retail Act.

  • Real Estate & Business Sales Representative Registration (including Property Managers)
