Accountable for leading the ECC to S/4HANA conversion under RISE with SAP, ensuring the platform is technically fit for HANA, compliant with Clean Core, and sustainable from a data and customization standpoint.
Owns readiness, remediation, archiving, partner governance, and delivery of a low-risk cutover with stable operations in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Purpose of Position
The role is accountable for leading a RISE with SAP S/4HANA system conversion from SAP ECC, ensuring the landscape is fit for HANA, compliant with Clean Core principles, and optimized through data archiving and code remediation.

Manage SAP, hyperscaler, and system integrator partners.
Own testing, cutover, and post go-live stabilization.
Define data archiving and volume management strategy.
Drive Clean Core strategy, including custom code reduction and governance.
Financial Accountability (Budget/Revenue)
Owns the end-to-end transformation budget for the ECC to S/4 program under RISE with SAP, including SI, hyperscaler, tools, and hypercare.
Accountable for cost control, preventing scope creep, and delivering the efficiency case through optimized HANA sizing, reduced technical debt, and minimal business disruption.
Market / Function Complexity
Operates in a highly regulated alco-beverage manufacturing landscape with complex supply chain, excise, and traceability obligations, where downtime risk is extremely high.
Must balance global SAP standards with strong local statutory nuances while coordinating multiple functions, plants, and external partners in a constrained availability environment.
Strategical Accountability
Drives the strategic transition from ECC to a future-ready S/4 landscape under RISE with SAP, embedding Clean Core principles and long-term platform sustainability.
Ensures technology decisions reduce technical debt, enable governed extensibility, and create a stable foundation for innovation across the manufacturing enterprise.

Qualifications and Experience Required
Qualifications
Experience
Certifications: SAP certifications in S/4HANA – RISE Architecture (Desirable).
Knowledge: Knowledge of SAP BTP extensibility patterns (Desirable).
Years of Experience: 12+ years of SAP experience across modules and implementation.
Key Expertise: Proven leadership in S/4HANA conversion on RISE with SAP. Strong expertise in Clean Core and Fit-for-HANA.
Industry Experience: Experience in manufacturing / FMCG / alco-bev and regulated industries.
Technical Exposure: Exposure to Open-Text, data archiving objects, and retention frameworks.
