Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial & General Maintenance Worker in our North Mankato-MN facility to maintain cleanliness, safety, and overall facility upkeep. This position is responsible for routine cleaning, minor repairs, and preventative maintenance to ensure a safe and professional environment.

Your Shift:
1st Shift; Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm
May require evenings, weekends, or on-call hours
Your Responsibilities:
Janitorial Duties:
Perform daily cleaning of offices, restrooms, breakrooms, hallways, and common areas
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and wax floors
Empty trash and recycling containers
Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment
Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is needed
General Maintenance Duties:
Perform minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs
Replace light bulbs, filters, and ceiling tiles
Assist with HVAC filter changes and basic system checks
Conduct routine facility inspections and/or identify repair needs
Repair doors, locks, handles, and other hardware
Paint and patch walls as needed
Set up and break down equipment or furniture for meetings and events
Assist with snow removal and grounds maintenance (if applicable)
Assist as backup for warehouse activity following forklift certification
You Must Have:
Previous janitorial or maintenance experience preferred
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and building systems
Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals and maintenance tools
Strong attention to detail
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to work in an environment that requires indoor and occasional outdoor work
Comfortability with exposure to cleaning chemicals and maintenance equipment
Ability to climb ladders and use hand tools
Requirements within this Position:
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
Frequently required to move inside the facility, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)
The anticipated hourly range for this position is $16–$18. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employee.
