We are seeking a General Foreman in Atlanta, Georgia, for our Forestry team!
The General Foreman is responsible for supervising vegetation management crews and overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with company policies. This role involves managing all aspects of crew administration, including training, pay practices, hiring, promotions, and terminations. The General Foreman assigns work tasks, enforces safety protocols, and investigates incidents related to injuries, damages, or disciplinary actions.
This position is also accountable for maintaining accurate operational records and documentation. The General Foreman receives and interprets work orders from utility personnel, directs emergency response crews, and communicates effectively with customers, property owners, the general public, other contractors, utility representatives, and government agencies.
Strong project planning skills are essential, as the General Foreman is responsible for setting priorities, managing time effectively, and ensuring that both short- and long-term project goals are clearly understood and achieved.
