Baker Hughes is seeking a skilled and motivated General Wireline Field Operator with expertise in e-line services to join our dynamic team. As a key player in our operations, you will be responsible for executing wireline services in various locations worldwide. This role offers a unique opportunity to work internationally, rotating to different job sites and collaborating with a diverse team of professionals.

As a General Wireline Field Operator, you will be fully competent in all aspects of operator duties at the well site and at the shop, can maintain the unit and perform all pre-job duties, well-site operations and post-job duties, as well as training of junior operators. 

As a General Wireline Field Operator, you will be responsible for: 

• Carrying out preventative maintenance and operation of a range of wireline winches and surface equipment.
• Conducting all activities in line with our non-negotiables, applicable processes and cultural pillars.
• Following established instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on wellsite activity, performing basic duties at the wellsite and at the shop.
• Servicing of mechanical devices, building both Open Hole and Cased Hole cable heads and tool maintenance.
• Managing to rig up and down wellsite equipment including pressure control equipment.
• Hoisting in different situations such as fishing operations, coring operations, testing operations and deploying tools in deviated wells and through PCE.
• Managing all job-related paperwork and records for self and assigned crew.
• Applying Health, Safety and Environment standards and procedures in all situations to ensure compliance is maintained.
• Be prepared to rotate internationally, adapting to various work environments and cultures.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have proven experience as a General Wireline Field Operator, with a focus on e-line services.
• Proven experience with Baker Hughes Wireline Products and technologies is highly desirable.
• Have experience in the Preventative Maintenance of Wireline units.
• Have a proven track record for wireline service delivery and safety focus.
• Experience operating a Capstan.
• Have a sound mechanical aptitude.
• Have good communication skills and be a team player.
• Willingness to travel internationally and work in remote locations as needed.
