Major Duties:

  • You will develop long-range facility plans and manage the execution of major construction projects to resolve infrastructure capability gaps.
  • You will evaluate geographic costs, site-specific design concerns, and explosive safety considerations to guarantee successful project planning and execution.
  • You will provide authoritative technical direction and assist program managers in identifying methods and approaches to resolve complex facility requirements.
  • You will coordinate and evaluate planning, design, and construction documents, such as cost estimates and drawings, to assure full conformance with approved technical criteria.
  • You will update organizational policies based on federal directives, represent the agency at strategic meetings, and develop comprehensive project budgets.

Qualifications: In addition to the basic education requirement, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or NH-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Professional engineering experience planning and executing large-scale facility projects, evaluating technical designs and budgets, and resolving construction deficiencies or contract deviations.
