Major Duties:

  • You will provide technical advice and guidance on program management and engineering activities of the contractor for development and in-service programs.
  • You will lead and participate in Engineering Technical Reviews across the Combat System Review Team community to approve design and test work products.
  • You will assign work to be accomplished by project team members, setting priorities, preparing schedules and ensuring satisfactory quality of work.
  • You will resolve engineering problems relating to element computer programs and system level performance.
  • You will plan, manage, and coordinate various engineering development programs/projects that involve continuous systems modification, system requirement evaluation, and other pertinent factor/system performance analysis.
  • You will define project goals, develop plans, schedules, cost estimates, resource requirements, and manage budget results to achieve established program goals and objectives on schedule and within fiscal constraints.
  • You will provide scientific, technical, and professional engineering advice and guidance to organizational leaders and supporting project/program execution elements.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year specialized experience to the next level pay band NH-02 (GS-11 equivalency) grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional engineer providing technical oversight planning, managing and coordinating various engineering development programs/projects that involve continuous systems modification, system requirement evaluation, and system performance analysis.
