Job Summary: This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Major Duties:

  • You will spearhead the comprehensive modernization of Naval Ordnance Test Unit (NOTU) facilities to support the critical TRIDENT II D5 Life Extension program.
  • You will direct a wide range of facilities projects, including new construction, renovations, and infrastructure repairs, from initial concept to final completion.
  • You will develop and review scopes of work, requests for proposals (RFPs), and engineering designs for all facility maintenance and modernization projects.
  • You will act as the primary liaison for facilities, coordinating extensively with key partners like NAVFAC, Space Force, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • You will guide all phases of project implementation, setting priorities and taking corrective action to prevent delays and ensure mission readiness.
  • You will participate in establishing and implementing a preventative maintenance program to maintain the quality and control of all Navy-assigned buildings.

Qualifications: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-11 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Managing facility and utility projects, reviewing engineering designs, overseeing contract work, conducting inspections, and planning preparing budgeting documents, recommending efficiency improvements and coordinating multiple engineering tasks.
